It's the time, of the season for dork-loving...

"What's your name, (What's your name), Who's your sugar daddy??"

CNN posted a story, called "Dork Pride! Suddenly, it's cool to be uncool", saying that it is now cool to be a nerd, geek, or dork. They are raking in all of the technology money! Everyone should have an engineering sugar daddy!

If you can't tell me the difference between big and little endian, you are not a true geek. I also want a two page paper on my desk about cache posioning, CPU branch prediction, and why 3.5" floppies are funny:)

Yeah, I don't think that band people can claim the name! They are worse than tech guys. At least you can make money of computers!

As a true geek who buys components and assembles his own fucking rig (i.e., computer) like real men do (FUCK YEAH), I am always amused by the extra components online stores let you choose, such as power supplies or memory or hard disks, etc..

Here's what I'd like to see:

Include 3.5" floppy drive?
[]Yes
[]No
[]HAHAHAHAHA! Good one!

Dana, you are so right! Most of my fave people are dorks and geeks! The girls in high school should ignore the cool kids in school since they end up ruining their lives. The hottest, most athletic and cool kid at my school was bald at my 5 year reunion with a crappy job and he loved everyone now that he had lost his hair. Some of the popular girls were knocked up by popular boys after high school. Sweet revenge...

I'm sorry Kien. The correct answer to why 3.5" floppys are funny is because it just sounds dirty:)
