Like most states, Michigan allows drivers to select a custom license plate in order to benefit specific charities. Some of them make a lot of sense, like dontating to a children's fund, veteran's fund, or a fund to protect wildlife hbitat.
All well and good until I came across this one:
According to the Michigan Secretary of State, this plate raises funds for "Proud To Be American". Is anyone else confused?
