I can't be alone in thinking the new Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele sounds like a complete tool when he says things like the following:
“We want to convey that the modern-day GOP looks like the conservative party that stands on principles. But we want to apply them to urban-surburban hip-hop settings.”
Yea, cause the first thing I think of when I think of hip-hop artists is people who are interested in "family values" and "respecting the law".
He added, jokingly, that “we need to uptick our image with everyone, including one-armed midgets.”
And after a comment like that, I say "Good Luck with the one-armed midgets".
Steele described the new multi-platform PR offensive as “avant-garde, technically. It will come to [the] table with things that will surprise everyone — off the hook.”
"Off the hook" hasn't been the hip slang for at least 5 years. Please don't say that again.
Asked whether that meant cutting-edge tactics, Steele demurred. “I don't do 'cutting-edge,’” he said. “That's what Democrats are doing. We're going beyond cutting-edge.”
Oh great. You're a tool AND a marketing weinie. I bet you ask people to give "110%" as well. Actually, you probably ask them to give 120%, because 110% is what "the Democrats are doing".

Yes, I am sure that the urban hip-hop crowd agrees with making money conservatively and believes in abstinence and not doing drugs!! Nice.
Republicans R N da hisowzzzzz!!!!
NO, NO, NO, you got it all wrong he doesn't want everyone from the hip-hop community, just the ones who hit it big and are rich. He doesn't care about the people without money.
